Welcome to the LifeCAUSE social media Group on CauseBOOK. This is a (lightly) Moderated Group, as we have invited several key leaders in the Prolife community to contribute content and their thoughts here and in the related "Discussion Forum by the same title.

We have started by posting a number of images that you should feel free to download and use.

You will also find a number of other Tools to include a growing collection of Videos.

As folks continue to come on board, do come back to visit and participate. And as always, we are here to inform and gently compel others to the Prolife position. Please be cool. We are not here to slam folks or beat them over the head with moral indignation or your religious conviction.

Many of us have strong faith-based convictions about abortion. That's fine but be guided, please by Corinthians 1: "Some sow, some water; The Lord provides the Harvest". And it may seem strange to you but let this social media Group be a place where we might encourage and support everyone who has been up close to the fight for the Preborn. This is a place for testimony and encouraging and changing hearts and souls. Keep Francis of Assisi's words in mind: "Preach the Gospel always, speak if you must". Good counsel.

Lastly, some people have asked me why I used the somewhat iconic "Hurt Gurl" image from our "Stop Child Porn on Facebook Campaign" in the banner of this Group. Fair question. Simple.
We know of course, that approximately 52% of all abortions take the life of little girls. But I also know and have spoken to my fair share of women (and men) who have forever regretted their abortions. None of us and certainly I, don't bear them any malice. That's not my place. But one cannot escape the fact that abortion is a violent and deadly end to a Life, no matter how thinly veiled under a cloak of "rights".

That violence perpetrated on women in the womb, and always in the womb of a woman who is often threatened with abandonment or browbeaten into believing a baby is just "tissue" by men, is in that sense, no different than the sexual violence perpetrated against both men and women as children and throughout adulthood.
In my view, abortion is sexual violence's ugly cousin. And then when people read of horrific abuse and even murder of children, the young and the older, they are "horrified". Really? At what point in this trip did some in our society step off of the speeding train of common sense, decency, and respect for all life?
