Serious Choices About Eggs and the Hens.

I was asked the other day to go get some fresh eggs and found myself completely Dazed and Confused... you know, as in the song by Led Zeppelin from 1969... or was it 1968?

Oh, never mind that for the moment.

Here is why I need your help - failure in the future is just not an option. And the guilt about my choice is killing me. I made a quiet compromise just between God-In-Heaven. When my Bride of 46 years asked me what kind of eggs I got, I purposely "misremember" what I told her.

So, please vote in this poll. A genuine, long-standing marital pledge is at stake here. Please consider your responses carefully. Thanks.

In your view:

Are "free range" eggs the same as "cage free" eggs?

Are the hens that lay those kind of eggs, the same as the hens who are said to be "pasture raised"?

And if either one of these three egg types also lays claim to being "organic" is that the tie-breaser

This is all a gigantic marketing ploy and there is no difference. An egg is an egg and God forgives me for buying two dozen eggs and purposely mixing the the two types that were said to be "organic".
